Since the $2 billion acquisition of Oculus in 2014, Facebook has been at the forefront of VR development as a social platform giant. With the development of the market, VR has been in a frenzy in the United States and China. As a result, Facebook is ready to expand its territory and aim at the United Kingdom.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Facebook recently opened a VR development center in London, UK, making it the first base for Oculus in Europe.            It is understood that the head of Oculus's British team is Mike LeBeau, a former senior engineer at Google, and the developer of Google's voice search software. In January of this year, LeBeau went to London to join Oculus. In fact, Oculus has been acting in Britain. In 2015, Oculus's godfather Facebook bought the Surreal Vision, the British VR venture company. Over the past six months, Oculus has been expanding its engineering and developer relationship team in the UK, according to Leader.            Oculus now has offices in six U.S. cities, Hong Kong and Seoul, plus London this time. Oculus responded by saying the company had a small team in London and that "we will announce more international expansion plans soon." This sentence seems to mean that Facebook is ready to expand.
